At The Warrior Academy, we’ve refined the art of teaching martial arts into a holistic approach that takes physical and mental development to new heights. Explore the range of advantages you and your child can experience when you sign up with us.
Our training system is built on 'The Warrior Method' and 'Not a Victim', two best-selling books written by our founder, Sebastian Bates. This proven methodology goes far beyond martial arts, focusing on confidence, resilience, discipline, and character development. Every class follows a structured system that has helped thousands of children grow stronger mentally and physically.
We have over 150 instructors on a global waiting list who want to join The Warrior Academy. We don’t hire based purely on belt rank or competition records. We carefully select instructors from around the world for their ability to mentor, inspire, and positively influence young people. This means your child is taught by role models, not just martial artists.
Across all our academies, we have over 2,000 five-star reviews from real parents and students. No other martial arts academy in the Middle East comes close. These reviews reflect consistent quality, outstanding coaching, and real, measurable impact on children’s confidence and behaviour.
We don’t guess, we measure. Using before-and-after assessments with over 2,000 students, we’ve recorded an average increase in confidence of 82%. These results show that our system works, not just in theory, but in real life, helping children become calmer, more confident, and more capable both inside and outside the academy.

Need to know something about The Warrior Academy? We’ve listed our most commonly asked questions. If you don’t see what you need, please feel free to give us a call and we’ll be happy to help.
Yes, we have a unique syllabus based around the ITF (International Tae Kwon Do Federation) belt system and regularly transition students from other styles to our belts and our students who move onto other styles transition quickly. We are regulated by the WKF (World Karate Federation) and the UAE Karate Federation. Students naturally come and go; however, in every case, after a quick skill assessment, we find their belt is transferable to another equivalent style (bear in mind that some clubs may insist on starting on a different belt). This depends on the club. We have a list of suitable clubs locally that we have vetted, who have the same integrity in their belt system as us.
In our classes your child is learning all of the important techniques to help them transition from our syllabus to ITF or WTF taekwondo, Muay Thai or even Karate. We have never had a student be turned away because of their belt, quite the opposite our students are praised for how versatile they are and how quickly they pick techniques up are compared to other styles.
When the Warrior Academy started we were part of the ITF organisation. The challenge we found is the strict rules and politics of the organisation restricted our ability to really maximise the character development aspect of our programme. Martial arts is great but developing your child’s character is what sets them up for a happy and successful life as an adult – since we made this bold change we have won countless awards for our programme and our transformations.
In WTF or ITF organisation’s it takes around 3-4 years on average to earn a black belt. In our programme our students take on average 6-8 years. We are so confident on the quality of our black belts that we guarantee everyone who gets a black belt a job in our Academy.
